Gardai appeal for people to slow down after 7 people die over the June Bank Holiday weekend




Gardai say that the June Bank Holiday weekend was appalling and have appealed to road users to take extra care after 7 people were killed since Friday.

It’s understood that a further 8 people were badly injured in separate crashes too.

Road crashed claimed lives over the Bank Holiday in counties Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Sligo and Limerick.

So far, 77 people have been killed on the roads in 2022.
