Gardaí have issued an appeal to the public for their assistance in order to help trace the whereabouts of missing Co Mayo man John Lockwood.
Mr Lockwood, 87, has not seen since he left his home in Lissadrone, Ballycastle in the early hours of this morning.
John is described as being around 5′ 9″ in height, of slim build, and has blue eyes, short white hair and a moustache.
When he was last John was wearing a green jumper, light brown trousers and black shoes.
Gardai are urging anyone with any information is asked to contact Ballina Garda Station 096-20560 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
