Gardai appeal for social media sharing of missing elderly Dublin man Brendan Burke

Gardai in Dublin have issued​ an appeal​ to the public knowledge order to trace the whereabouts of an elderly​ man missing since the 15th of November.

The appeal comes as the man named Brendan Burke, aged 71, who is staying at Bloomfield Care Centre, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, has not been since he was spotted at Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, on the 15th of November.

Mr Burke is described as being 5’11” in height and of medium build, with dark brown hair. Brendan also has has blue eyes and wears glasses.

Gardai say they are deeply concerned for Brendan’s welfare and they are urging anyone who may have seen Brendan or who can assist in locating him, to contact them at Rathfarnham Garda Station on 01-6666500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
