Gardai have this evening appealed for the mother of the baby girl whose remains were found at a recycling center in Wicklow this morning to come forward.
The grim discovery was made by a member of staff at the Greenstar facility in Fassaroe, Wicklow, early this morning.
A post mortem will be carried out on the body tomorrow, to try and determine the cause of the baby’s death.
Gardai are concerned for the welfare of the mother, and have issued an appeal for her to either come forward or seek medical attention.
