Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s was killed in a car and truck collision in Co Louth
The incident happened around 2pm on Monday afternoon in Cookstown, Ardee. The deceased was the driver of the car. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The man’s body was transported to the mortuary of Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda with a technical check carried out where the crash took place.
Gardaí asks all who witnessed the incident to report it to Ardee garda station or the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
