Gardaí in South Dublin have confirmed they have arrested four men after a man was subjected to a vicious assault at a fuel station.
It is understood the victim a man aged in his 20s was brought to Tallaght hospital following the incident, which happened on the 9th Lock Road in Clondalkin, at approximately 7pm on Thursday evening.
Gardaí say the four men, who are all aged in their 20s were arrested near the scene shortly after the incident.
The four men are currently being being detained at different garda stations across Dublin.
