
Gardai arrested four people for public order offences in the capital as people gathered to enjoy the fine weather.
Large crowds gathered around Dublin’s South William Street in the south inner city and surrounding areas on Saturday night, in what was one of the hottest days of the year so far.
The congregations were spotted by Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan, who’s said to have been ‘absolutely shocked’ at the sight of people enjoying themselves in one of those rare occasions when Ireland sees a bit of sun.
