Gardai in Co Laois have arrested a man aged in his 20s following the seizure of €161,000 worth of illegal drugs over the weekend.
The arrest comes after Gardai says seized cocaine at a premises on Patrick Street, Portarlington.
Gardai say the man was arrested at the scene and was taken to Portlaoise Garda Station.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
