Gardaí in Waterford have confirmed that a man aged in his 30s was arrested after he was caught pretending to be a doctor at University Hospital Waterford.
According to Waterford Live, the man was arrested after he raised suspicion amongst staff at the hospital last Sunday morning.
Gardaí say thankfully no one was harmed during the incident and the man was arrested at the scene.
They added he was detained under the mental health act.
