Gardai have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the suspected arson attack on the Dublin HQ of KBC Bank last Thursday.
It is understood that Gardai have identified a number of other suspects who may have been implicated in the attack. and that more arrests may take place.
A second KBC branch came under attack in recent days, prompting the bank to step up security.
KBC has been widely criticised for its ill-advised handling of a recent high-profile eviction incident in Roscommon.
