Gardai have arrested two people after a violent assault in Clondalkin, Dublin, that resulted in serious injuries to a man.
The incident happened at around 7am today in the Oakwood Grove area of Clondalkin.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he is now in a coma.
The two people arrested, a man and a woman, were taken to Clondalkin Garda Station for questioning.
