Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a security guard aged in his 20s was stabbed during an altercation yesterday afternoon.
It is understood the incident happened at approximately 2.30pm yesterday afternoon at the Omni Shopping Centre in Santry, when an argument broke out between two men and a woman after a number of items were stolen.
Gardaí say the security guard was stabbed during the incident and was quickly taken to the Mater Hospital, although thankfully his injuries are understood to be non life threatening.
