Maintenance workers on the Luas Green line were left rather embarrassed recently after they called in the Gardaí to inspect a suspicious device which ultimately turned out t6o be a sex toy.
According to Dublin Live, maintenance staff working on the line became increasingly concerned after they discovered what they thought was a ball bearing bomb device on the line on Fassaugh Road in Cabra, Dublin 7, at approximately 3am on Tuesday morning.
However following a cautious approach from Garda officers discovered that the suspected bomb was nothing more than a dildo which had been dumped on the line.
Gardaí confirmed that the scene was closed off for a short while but it was quickly re-opened after the area was declared safe.
