Gardaí in Drogheda Co Louth, have sealed off part of the town following the discovery of a suspect device this afternoon.
It is believed the device was found at a premises on Duke Street in the town and a number of surrounding streets including Fair Street have been cordoned off.
Gardaí say the device was discovered at approximately 3pm this afternoon, and the Army Bomb Disposal team are at the scene.
