Gardai in Co Galway have sadly confirmed that a woman has been killed following a road traffic collision.
It is understood that the woman aged in her 20s was killed following a single vehicle collision on the Headford to Tuam road at approximately 6.45pm on Sunday evening.
Gardai say the driver of the vehicle and another passenger was were taken to Galway University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
