It has been confirmed by the Gardai that they have arrested the second prisoner who escaped from a courthouse in Ennis Co Clare last week.
Although the 18-year-old assailant was quickly re-arrested and returned to the courthouse that evening.
The two men appeared in court charged with a number of offences one of which included dangerous driving, it is understood that the two men sped away at 140km from a pursuing garda in a chase along the M18 motorway earlier this year.
