Gardaí are carrying out an investigation into a reported attempted abduction of a woman in Dublin’s north inner city, reports Breaking News.
The incident, involving a Romanian woman, is said to have taken place at 2:40pm on Monday near Mountjoy Square in Dublin 1.
In a statement, gardaí said they had “received a report of the alleged attempted abduction of an adult female”, reports Breaking News.
They confirmed that the woman did not suffer any injuries and said that inquiries remain ongoing.
The investigation is being led by detectives from Fitzgibbon Garda Station, reports Breaking News.
