Gardaí in Co Cork have arrested a man aged in his 70s in connection with alleged sexual offences.
According to RTÉ News, the man who is currently being detained at Togher Garda Station was arrested by Gardai at approximately 8am this morning.
It is understood the man is being questioned in relation to historical allegations of abuse in Scouting Ireland.
