Gardai in Co Cork have officially confirmed that a search operation in a woodland area in Castlemartyr, for missing Youghal woman Tina Satchwell has been stood down.
The halting of the search comes after Gardai reviews the situation earlier today.
Although a number of items were found in the woodland, Gardai say they have decided to end the operation after they searched 80% of the 40 acre site.
Gardai have now said they will now examine the recovered items in the coming days ahead in order to determine whether or not they belong too Mrs Satchwell.
The search operation which started on March 5th came after Mrs Satchwell was reported missing from her home on the 20th of March 2017.
