Gardaí in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 90s has died following a farming accident on Thursday.
It is understood the man died Listowel at a farm around three kilometres north of the town.
Gardaí say the incident occurred at approximately 11am on Thursday morning and it is believed the man may have using machinery at the time of the incident.
They also say the Health and Safety Authority have been informed and investigation is underway.
