Gardaí in Co Westmeath have confirmed that three men have been arrested in connection with a machete attack in Co Fermanagh over the weekend.
The arrests come after a 13-year-old was seriously injured following the attack which occurred in Enniskillen, on Saturday evening.
Gardaí say the three men are currently being detained at Athlone and Mullingar Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
