There was some sad news confirmed late last night as Gardaí in Cork announced that a man’s body was recovered following a search operation in the River Lee.
According to reports it is understood the man was recovered after search teams pulled a vehicle from the river, it is thought that he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Gardaí say they are not treating the incident as suspicious and say that it is being treated as a personal tragedy.
