Gardaí in Drogheda Co Louth are currently investigating a robbery of a cash-in-transit van in the town.
It is understood that the incident occurred at approximately 4.15pm at a supermarket on the Donore Road. Gardai say a masked man approached on foot and demanded money he then fled the from the scene with a large sum of cash.
Drogheda Gardai are appealing to the public who may have witnessed the robbery.
