Gardaí in Limerick City have confirmed that a man’s body has been recovered from the River Shannon this afternoon.
It is understood the man’s body was discovered at approximately 4:30pm.
Gardai say they are currently trying to identify the man’s body which was recovered by crews from both the Limerick Marine Search and Rescue Service and Limerick City Fire and Rescue Service.
