Gardai are investigating after a woman handed in a baby she found alone in a pram in the capital.
It is understood that a member of the public came across the pram with the baby inside near the Mater Hospital on Monday. She reportedly waited around for some time but no one came to claim the baby.
She handed the baby into Mountjoy Garda Station.
