Gardai in Co Meath have begun an investigation after two teenagers were struck by a car in a hit and run incident.
It is understood that the two teenage boys were struck by a vehicle whilst walking in the Athlumney area of Navan at approximately 5pm on Sunday.
Gardai say one the teenagers was taken to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda, for treatment on life-threatening injuries.
