Gardaí issue an appeal for social media sharing of John Shanely who has gone missing from St James Hospital Dublin




Gardaí in Dublin have issued an appeal this morning after a 44-year-old man has gone missing from St. James’ Hospital.

The man named John Shanley has not been seen since he left the hospital at approximately 10am yesterday morning. Mr Shanley is described as being five feet 11inches tall, with receding sandy hair going grey at the sides and blue/green eyes.

It is also understood Mr Shanley has a two inch surgical scar on his head and is believed to be suffering from memory loss. When last seen he John was wearing a navy jumper, navy blue jeans and a white short sleeved shirt.

Gardaí say thy are deeply concerned for John’s welfare and are urging anyone who can help find him to contact them at Kilmainham Garda Station on 01-6669700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
