A man in his 30s is in the special sitting of the criminal court tonight in connection to the attempted murder of four children last night in Wicklow.
The children aged between three and eleven were seriously injured when a man tried to strangle them.
Two of the children were rushed to hospital via ambulance while the other were airlifted to hospital.
