Gardai have confirmed that over 4,600 fines have been issued for Covid-19 restriction breaches.
In newly published figures Gardai say 3,523 fines were issued for non essential travel with 375 of those being issued at Dublin Airport.
The figures also show that there were 301 fines issued to people who organised and attended house parties.
Gardai say there were also 94 fines issued for the refusal to wear a face mask with over 70 of those fines issued related to incidents in retail settings.
