Gardai have today issued a warning about a new scam affecting recipients of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP).
According to Gardai, some people have begun receiving text messages purporting to be from Revenue, asking them to click on a link to ‘claim’ €350.
The process, if followed, would lead to financial loss.
People are reminded once again to never click on links in unexpected or suspicious text messages or any other form of social media.
