Gardai have issued a warning after a number of fake €10 notes were detected around Cork city and county in recent days.
Both public and traders should be vigilant, as this is the second time in a short span of time that counterfeit money circulates in the area.
Fake €50 notes were detected just before and during the Christmas period.
