Gardai were out in force over the weekend up and down the country. They say that they issued up to 150 fines for people who were caught in house parties, some of which saw 30 people in the one house.
They say that they’ve issued some 3,000 fines since the start of the year ranging from people breaking the 5km rule to people attending large gatherings.
Gardai say that they’re going to be holding checkpoints up and down the country, especially at weekends as lockdown continues.
