Gardai have launched an investigation after a man was killed by a lorry in Galway.
The incident happened on the M6 at Ballygarraun West, Athenry, shortly after 5am.
It is understood that the deceased, a male in his 50s, had just exited his own vehicle after a collision and was hit by the lorry.
