Gardaí in Dublin have launched a major investigation this morning after a man took a significant amount of money after he threatened a number of people in St. Stephen’s Green yesterday evening.
The shameful and disgraceful robbery occurred at approximately 5.50pm when the assistant approached two men and a woman and demanded they give him their money. The innocent victims and a number of witnesses have told gardaí that the man was aggressive and threatened them with a syringe.
It is understood the man fled the scene with a significant sum of money, before Gardaí and emergency services arrived at the scene. However thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
