Gardai have launched an investigation after a young man was stabbed to death in the capital overnight.
The incident happened in an apartment block in Ballybough House at around 10pm.
It is understood that an altercation broke out among a group of youths gathered in the area. One of the youngsters, a male, sustained a stabbing injury to his upper body and died a short time later.
