An urgent recall notice has been issued for a sliced pepperoni product due to the presence of a particularly virulent strain of E.coli bacteria.
The product affected is Co-op Sliced Pepperoni, with a pack size of 70g and an expiration date of May 2020.
The strain involved can cause severe illness, including kidney failure.
