Gardai have launched an investigation after a young pedestrian was seriously injured during a collision with a car in Co. Meath.
The incident happened on the R147 Dublin Road near the junction with Circular Road in Navan shortly after 9:30pm.
The victim, a male in his 20s, was rushed to hospital for treatment.
