Gardai are today investigating an alleged assault on a young girl by three underage boys.
Authorities say that the incident happened at the end of June of this year.
The alleged assault involved three underage boys armed with sticks seriously assaulting a five-year-old girl inside a shed. The location of this alleged incident has not been disclosed.
The victim did not sustain any serious injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing.
