Gardai have launched an investigation after an assault involving a machete in Dublin.
The incident happened on Eden Quay on Monday afternoon.
The victim, believed to be a male in his 20s, required no fewer than 50 stitches.
The (unelected) Government has repeatedly referred to Dublin as a ‘safe’ city despite almost daily incidents of wanton violence.
