Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after an elederly woman was knocked down during a car robbery in Dublin city.
Gardaí say the elderly woman was hit by the car, after a gang of youths stole the vehicle on Mountjoy Street at approximately 4pm yesterday afternoon.
It is, believed the elderly woman was brought to the Mater hospital for treatment on her injuries, which are described as non-life threatening.
