Gardai have launched an investigation after a fatal hit-and-run incident in Co. Donegal overnight.
A man’s body was discovered lying on the side of the road near Windyhall, Letterkenny, at around 4am today. The man was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai were able to ascertain that a vehicle had hit him. The vehicle did not remain at the scene.
