Gardai have launched an investigation into the attempted abduction of a female in the town of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary on Wednesday night.
It is understood that the female was walking along the Western Road area when a man grabbed her and attempted to drag her into a nearby car. The woman struggled and was able to escape.
Gardai are asking for any witnesses or anyone who may seen a man acting suspiciously around the mentioned area to come forward.
