Gardai have this afternoon launched an investigation after the discovery of a woman’s body inside a house in Co. Carlow.
The grim finding was made in the village of Bagenalstown on Sunday morning. The body, believed to be that of female in her 40s, was removed to Waterford University Hospital for a post-mortem exam.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
