Gardaí in North county Dublin have launched an investigation this morning following a shooting incident in Coolock last night.

It is understood the investigation comes after a number of shots were fired at a fast food outlet in shopping centre in Priorswood.
Although thankfully no one was injured in the incident which occurred at approximately 9:20pm, Gardaí say they have begun an investigation into the incident.
It is not yet currently known what was the motive behind the incident.
