Gardai have launched an investigation following an aggravated burglary in Dublin.
The incident happened at Dunree Park, Coolock, Dublin, in the early hours of July 27.
It is understood that a group of males forced their way into a property and confronted the resident, a male in his 80s.
Gardai have said that a silver estate style car, reported to possibly be a 2000s registered Renault Megane, may have been involved.
