Gardai have launched an investigation following a shooting incident in Co. Louth.
The shooting took place at Woodbury Gardens in Dundalk, shortly after 8pm on Saturday evening.
A male was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Gardai are asking anyone with information to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 9388400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
