Gardai have launched an investigation following the death of a pedestrian after being struck by a vehicle in the capital.
The incident happened on Peamount Road in Newcastle, Dublin, at around 11pm on Saturday evening.
Gardai are asking anyone with information to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 666 7600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
