Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a male’s body inside a house.
The grim discovery was made inside a property in the New Oak estate in Co. Carlow earlier today.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the body was removed to University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.
