Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man with serious head injuries in the capital.
The incident happened in the Mac Uilliam estate in Tallaght, Dublin, shortly before midnight on Saturday.
Gardai found a man in his 40s unconscious in a local playground. He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital in a serious condition.
