Gardai have launched an investigation following the retrieval of a woman’s body from the water in an Irish county.
The body, believed to be that of a woman in her 60s, was spotted near the pier in the Gaeltacht village of Teelin, Co. Donegal.
The body was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.
